What "Last Updated" Means

A "Last updated" date on a FortuneSweep page marks a substantive change — updated facts, revised operator terms, changed scores, or a shift in market availability.

We do not refresh dates for cosmetic rebuilds, styling tweaks, or technical maintenance. If the date changed, something meaningful in the content changed.

What Triggers an Update

• An operator changes its published sweepstakes rules or terms
• A legal or regulatory event affects where a platform can operate
• A welcome offer or bonus changes or expires
• A state's availability changes for one or more platforms
• We detect drift between our published data and the operator's current published information

Scheduled Re-Verification

Beyond event-driven updates, we re-check facts on a schedule:

• Roughly weekly: bonus and welcome-offer terms
• Roughly monthly: redemption rules, game counts, and state availability / legal status
• On document change: a full review refresh whenever an operator's published documents change

Stale Facts

If a fact can no longer be verified against a primary source — an operator removes a help article, a terms page disappears, a published redemption window vanishes — we re-check it. If it still can't be verified, we mark it as unverified (for example, "Varies") or remove it.
